In 1987, the Lord placed a burden on Pastor Holland’s heart to start a church in Thomasville, Georgia. Several local families united as founding members renting a house on North Crawford Street for the charter service of the Victory Baptist Church. From the church’s inception, the vision has always been gospel outreach. During this inaugural service, the charter members voted to support several missionaries on foreign fields. The second order of business was to purchase a bus and begin ministering to children and families in our community.

God blessed, the congregation grew, and Victory was able to purchase the former facilities of Rose City Christian School. In 1988, the church relocated to this site on North Pinetree Boulevard, meeting in the school building’s chapel. Through the faithful labor of many servants we were able to section the old gymnasium into our current sanctuary. Recently, we have renovated the remainder of our facilities including our brand new Esther Fellowship Hall. Over the last twenty-plus years, the Lord has provided the members needed to advance Victory Baptist Church’s ministry in Thomasville and around the world.

Come be a part of our church family as we continue working together and writing history in our labor for Christ.
